We use different types of cookies on the Elev-Aura Application:

These cookies are essential for the Application to function. Without them, certain features could not be provided.

- **Authentication cookies**: Verify your identity and secure your account
- **Security cookies**: Protect against malicious attacks (CSRF, XSS)

**Retention period:** Session (deleted when application closes) or up to 12 months

**Legal basis:** These cookies are necessary for contract performance and do not require prior consent.

2.2 Performance and analytical cookies

These cookies allow us to understand how you use the Application to improve it. Collected data is anonymized and aggregated.

- Measure number of visitors
- Most viewed pages and features
- Time spent on the Application
- Navigation paths
- Bounce and abandonment rates
- Bug and technical issue identification

**Tool used:** Plausible Analytics - a privacy-friendly analytics tool, GDPR compliant, that does not collect personally identifiable data and does not use traditional cookies.

**Retention period:** Up to 24 months (anonymized data)

**Legal basis:** Your consent (opt-in). These cookies are only set with your explicit agreement.

2.3 Functional cookies

These cookies allow the Application to remember your choices and preferences to offer you a personalized and improved experience.

**Examples:**
- Language preferences
- Display settings (light/dark theme)
- Notification preferences
- Application browsing history
- Favorites and saved items
- Cookie consent choices

**Retention period:** Up to 12 months

**Legal basis:** Your consent or legitimate interest to improve your user experience.

Cookie retention period varies by type and purpose:

4. How to manage your cookie preferences?

You have several ways to manage your cookie preferences:

4.1 Cookie management panel in the Application

You can modify your cookie preferences directly from the Application at any time:

1. Access your account **Settings**
2. Select **Privacy and data**
3. Click on **Cookie management**
4. Enable or disable cookie categories according to your preferences

**Important:** Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled as they are essential for the Application to function.

4.2 Your browser or device settings

You can also manage cookies via your web browser or mobile device settings:

**On web browser:**
- **Chrome**: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and other site data
- **Firefox**: Settings > Privacy and security > Cookies and site data
- **Safari**: Preferences > Privacy > Manage website data
- **Edge**: Settings > Cookies and site permissions

**On mobile:**
- **iOS**: Settings > Safari > Block all cookies (or app settings)
- **Android**: Application or browser settings

**Warning:** Disabling all cookies may affect the proper functioning of the Application and limit certain features.

5. Third-party cookies and external services

The Elev-Aura Application may use third-party services that set their own cookies. These services are selected for their privacy respect and GDPR compliance.

5.1 Currently used services

**Plausible Analytics**
- **Purpose**: Anonymous and privacy-friendly audience analysis
- **Data type**: Aggregated and anonymized visit statistics
- **Cookies**: Does not use traditional cookies, does not collect full IPs
- **Compliance**: GDPR compliant, hosted in EU
- **Privacy policy**: https://plausible.io/privacy

**OneSignal** (if push notifications are enabled)
- **Purpose**: Sending personalized push notifications
- **Data type**: Device identifier, notification preferences
- **Compliance**: GDPR compliant
- **Privacy policy**: https://onesignal.com/privacy_policy
- **Opt-out**: You can disable notifications in Application settings

**Payment services** (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Stripe)
- **Purpose**: Secure payment processing
- **Data type**: Transaction information (no credit card storage on Elev-Aura side)
- **Cookies**: Session cookies to secure transactions
- **Compliance**: PCI-DSS, GDPR compliant

5.2 Social networks and sharing (if applicable)

If you use social media sharing features from the Application, these networks may set their own cookies. We recommend consulting their respective privacy policies.

6. Cookies and health data

**Important:** Health data you enter in the Application (menstrual cycle, weight, mood, etc.) is NOT stored in cookies. This sensitive data is stored securely and encrypted on our servers in compliance with GDPR.

Cookies may only contain session identifiers or display preferences, but never personal health data.

7. Rights and consent

7.1 Your consent

When you first use the Application, we present you with a cookie consent banner allowing you to:
- Accept all cookies
- Reject non-essential cookies
- Customize your preferences by category

Your choice is saved for 6 months, after which we will ask for your consent again.

7.2 Withdrawal of consent

You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie management panel in the Application settings. Withdrawal of your consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing performed before withdrawal.

7.3 Proof of consent

In accordance with GDPR, we keep a record of your consent (or refusal) as well as the date and categories of cookies accepted.

8. Cookie policy modifications

We reserve the right to modify this Cookie Policy at any time to reflect:
- Application evolutions
- Addition or removal of third-party services
- Regulatory changes
- Improvement of our practices

In case of substantial modification, we will inform you via notification in the Application or by email. The last update date is indicated at the top of this document.
